ACISJF is an International Catholic Society established in Piacenza since 1928. It has a building in the historical town centre,in via del Tempio n. 26 where the young women are welcome during their stay.
The aim of the society is to welcome young women who live far from their families for work or study in order to foster solidarity among the guests , personal fulfillment, integration and to develop fruitful relashionships.
The Institute provides the young women who would like to come and stay seventeen bedrooms with places for up to twenty-five people, two of which intended to families, run in collaboration with lay volunteers and two Congolese sisters.
The building provides a comfortable, calm environment , bright rooms, a courtyard and wide common areas.
The house offers concierge services, laundry, ironing, cooking, TV antenna connection in every room, WiFi , video surveillance .

How to reach the building from the railway station:
catch buses n. 1, 6, 2, 8 to via Borghetto, then walk down corso Vittorio Emanuele and via Del Tempio.

How to reach the University Buildings from the residence:
Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore:
buses 2 and 3 from Piazza Cavalli ( which is about 200 metres from the residence and can be reached from via del Tempio, corso Vittorio Emanuele II) to the University (Università Cattolica).

Politecnico:
a 10 min. walk to the Politecnico through via Verdi, piazza Sant’Antonino, via Scalabrini.

a 10 min. walk: via San Giovanni, via Coglialegna, via San Matteo, or
via Croce, via Garibaldi, piazza Borgo, via Taverna.
