St. Isidoro College was inaugurated in 1955, by the express will of Father Agostino Gemelli.
Located in the immediate vicinity of the Catholic University venue in Piacenza, it underwent several changes and renovations in the past years , also due to the increasing number of enrolled students and the edification of a wing (residence) for girls. (inaugurated in 2001). In September 2012,,the University Residence Gasparini was opened and run directly by St. Isidoro College.
The building offers wide common areas – study and leisure rooms . Students have access to a range of learning facilities provided by EDUCatt , such as a canteen service and a library where they can rent books..
Since September 2013, with the closure of the road separating the College from the University and the creation of green areas, the seat of Piacenza has become to all effects a University Campus including learning , leisure facilities and accommodation.
The location of the College, so close to the Catholic University , fosters an aggregative pole of high fervor, characterized by continuous exchanges and activities.
Since 2012 the management of the College has been entrusted to EDUCatt, the University Institution for the right to education .
